National Public Lands Day 2024 is a statewide event that provides unique opportunities for Minnesota Master Naturalist Volunteers to participate in our largest single day of service. Locations across the state will have MNats and others out helping to make Minnesota a better place!

Friends and family are welcome to participate, but must be registered to participate. Everyone will sign a photo release upon site registration. All participants will receive a free NPLD branded item and a day pass to a national park as a thank-you for participating.

Work for the day will include weeding - tansy, thistle, work in the chef's garden; weeding, mulching, building a pizza oven and planting native plants. Beach cleanup. Trail Clearing. Ojibway village work. These are all ideas depending on the group. Bring water, and gloves, wear boots. A delicious lunch will be provided!
