VOL - Volunteer Stewardship Project: Clinton Falls Dwarf Trout Lily SNA-Medford
Volunteer Stewardship Project: Dame website
N County Rd 45Medford, MN 55049
Come out and help us remove invasive species at Clinton Falls Dwarf Trout Lily SNA. The task for the day will be pulling dame's rocket, a plant that invades woodland areas and can out-compete native species.
Bags, instructions, and good camaraderie will be provided. Bring water, snacks, and dress for working in the weather. Long pants and sleeves are strongly recommended due to stinging nettle on the site. Footwear appropriate for outdoor work/hiking is recommended. If you have your own gloves you'd like to use, please bring those as well. There are no public restrooms nor access to drinking water on this site.
Advanced registration is required. To register, please email sna.dnr@state.mn.us.
Directions
From Clinton Falls 0.5 mile N on Co Hwy 45. Park in water access on W. We will meet at the access before hiking into the site together.
