Lamberton Wildlife Management AreaCharlestown Township, MN 56125
This 1350 ac Wildlife Management Area has been acquired in sections for decades. This is one of the largest WMAs in Redwood County with extraordinary habitat diversity. Regal Fritillary butterflies caterpillars only feed on prairie violets. We will be part of planting 15,000 violets over the next two years at the site to reintroduce the Regal Fritillary. Volunteers can learn about prairie ecosystems, restoration and management, pollinators and beneficial insects.
