This is a virtual course offered as a non-credit option alongside Anoka-Ramsey Community College students. You will participate in weekly synchronous Zoom meetings during scheduled class time (entirely online) will require a computer with a functioning microphone and internet access. This course will focus on the coniferous forest biome of MN with an emphasis on identifying native plants and animals. During the field trip weeks students independently choose the time and specific location to visit from a choice of provided field trip sites to satisfy the field requirements of the course. All students are required to participate in a minimum of 10 hours of service-learning and complete a capstone project.

The course cost is $295 and includes course manuals and supplies.
