Dive into the natural history of Minnesota's Big Woods forests on Camp Fire MN's beautiful 103-acre remnant woodland right here in the Twin Cities! We will explore our environment both locally at Camp Fire and through field trip excursions. Course instruction is a mix of lecture, hands on activities, a healthy dose of camp fun, and is conducted outdoors whenever possible. So come ready for whatever the winter has to offer! All participants will contribute to a small group capstone project. Due to the short term nature of this course, attendance at all sessions is required, including graduation on February 24.
