National Public Lands Day 2024 is a statewide event that provides unique opportunities for Minnesota Master Naturalist Volunteers to participate in our largest single day of service. Locations across the state will have MNats and others out helping to make Minnesota a better place!
Friends and family are welcome to participate but must be registered to participate. Everyone will sign a photo release upon site registration. All participants will receive a free NPLD branded item and a day pass to a national park as a thank-you for participating.
Join knowledgeable wildlife staffers as they teach you to hand-harvest native prairie seeds. You will visit some beautiful, and relatively unvisited parts of the WMA. Bring water bottles, lunch, snacks, gloves, and boots.
