National Public Lands Day 2024 is a statewide event that provides unique opportunities for Minnesota Master Naturalist Volunteers to participate in our largest single day of service. Locations across the state will have MNats and others out helping to make Minnesota a better place!

Friends and family are welcome to participate, but must be registered to participate. Everyone will sign a photo release upon site registration. All participants will receive a free NPLD branded item and a day pass to a national park as a thank-you for participating.

Collect seeds from prairie plants in the park and put in provided containers. Leaders will direct participants by demonstrating seed collection on a variety of plants and assist people to identify the correct plants. No special knowledge is needed. Children over 5 years old are welcome to collect alongside their parents/guardians.

Water bottles, snack, gloves. Please wear long pants, closed-toed sturdy shoes, and a hat.
