National Public Lands Day 2024 is a statewide event that provides unique opportunities for Minnesota Master Naturalist Volunteers to participate in our largest single day of service. Locations across the state will have MNats and others out helping to make Minnesota a better place!

Friends and family are welcome to participate but must be registered to participate. Everyone will sign a photo release upon site registration. All participants will receive a free NPLD branded item and a day pass to a national park as a thank-you for participating.

Visit Cedar Creek Ecosystem Science Reserve's main campus (2660 Fawn Lake Drive NE, East Bethel, MN) and help install prairie plants in a new rain garden, clean up our ADA-accessible Minnesota Ecology Walk trail including weeding and replanting example species along the trail, and add winter deer protections to newly planted trees around Cedar Creek's main campus and the Minnesota Ecology Walk.

Volunteers should bring a gardening gloves, water bottle, sun protection, insect protection, and closed-toed shoes. Long-pants are also strongly recommended.
