The Cover It Up Project is looking for volunteers to eradicate Common Buckthorn and maybe some Honeysuckle at the Willow Creek Nature Center. You will be working alongside volunteers from the Owatonna/Steele county community. There is plenty to be eradicated at the Center.

Willow Creek Nature Center is located behind McKinley Elementary.

Friday, April 12th

8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
1:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Saturday, April 13th

9:00 AM to 1:00 PM

With rain dates April 19th and 20th, with the same four hour shifts.

NOTE: Volunteers will have to have a state ID to check in at McKinley Elementary, because Friday is a school day and the Nature Center belongs to Owatonna Public Schools. You will also need have pruning shears and/or loppers.
