National Public Lands Day 2023 is a statewide event that provides unique opportunities for Minnesota Master Naturalist Volunteers to participate in our largest single day of service. Locations across the state will have MNats and others out helping to make Minnesota a better place!

Friends and family are welcome to participate, but must be registered to participate. Everyone will sign a photo release upon site registration. All participants will receive a free NPLD water bottle as a thank you for participating.

Volunteers will have the options to spend their time, basking in the sun of River Bend's prairies collecting native seed or find their inner squirrel and scurry through the understory of River Bend's big woods collecting native hardwood seeds. Seeds collected from both sites will be used in future restoration projects.

These activities are fun for all ages and a great way to spend family time in nature!

Please bring a water bottle, snacks, sunscreen, bug spray, and wear a comfortable pair of closed toed shoes.
