National Public Lands Day 2023 is a statewide event that provides unique opportunities for Minnesota Master Naturalist Volunteers to participate in our largest single day of service. Locations across the state will have MNats and others out helping to make Minnesota a better place!

Friends and family are welcome to participate, but must be registered to participate. Everyone will sign a photo release upon site registration. All participants will receive a free NPLD water bottle as a thank you for participating.

Volunteers will be working to hand harvest native prairie seeds. The work location will be communicated with the volunteers who sign up. The availability of seeds on local sites will determine the location. It will be "nearish" to Morris! Don't let this stop you from signing up. It is a great day with super knowledgeable FWS staff. So you will learn a lot and help with a great cause!

Bring your own lunch and water. Wear long pants and closed-toe shoes appropriate for walking in the tall grass. We have all supplies needed, but feel free to bring your own gloves if you prefer.
