This course is taught in conjunction with a for-credit class at Anoka-Ramsey Community College. Students will meet once a week for a lecture and lab session and additional lecture material will be presented as recorded online lectures. There are two tentative scheduled day field trips to Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge on Thursday, 15 June and another to Crex Meadows State Wildlife Area in Wisconsin on Thursday, 29 June. Additional field activities will be conducted either independently or by optional field trips on Thursdays. A capstone service project is required for completion.

The course cost is $295 and includes course manuals and supplies.
