National Public Lands Day is the single largest day of service for the Minnesota Master Naturalist Program. There are 18 sites across Minnesota providing volunteer service for conservation efforts. Our primary tasks will be: clearing buckthorn out of our school forest and cleaning debris out of our pound and ephemeral stream. Additional tasks will include spreading mulch, picking up litter, and cleaning up our nature play area. All volunteers will receive a free national park day pass and a t-shirt! Family and friends are welcome to participate but will need to sign up to receive a t-shirt. They can create a visitor account to register by September 5 to get t-shirt!
