VOL - NPLD Camp Ripley Environmental, Little Falls
Little Falls, MN 56345
National Public Lands Day is the single largest day of service for the Minnesota Master Naturalist Program.
There are 16 sites across Minnesota providing volunteer service for conservation efforts.
Join us in enhancing the historic Main Gate entrance at Camp Ripley, located along the National Scenic Byway of the Mississippi River. National Public Lands Day volunteers will assist with planting native flowers, shrubs, and trees in eye-catching pollinator gardens that are tailored to benefit our native pollinators. The project will establish a diverse range of foraging resources, nesting substrates, and overwintering habitat for at-risk pollinator species using resources developed by the Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources.
All volunteers, except minors, must provide a valid form of government-issued identification to obtain entrance through the Main Gate security checkpoint. Please bring water bottles and gloves.
Meeting from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. on:
- Saturday, September 24, 2022
