National Public Lands Day is the single largest day of service for the Minnesota Master Naturalist Program. There are 16 sites across Minnesota providing volunteer service for conservation efforts.

Volunteer work for the day will consist of cleaning up invasive species from a future prairie restoration site. We will be clearing Siberian Elm and brush. Someone with a chainsaw certification is desirable but not required. Please let us know if you have a chainsaw certification. Dress in pants and wear work boots. Bring water bottles and gloves. Snacks and water to be provided by the site. Light lunch to be provided after work is complete.

All volunteers will receive a free national park day pass and a t-shirt! Family and friends are welcome to participate but will need to sign up to receive t-shirt. They can create a visitor account to register.

The Northland Arboretum would like to thank all past and current volunteers for your dedication to keeping our site beautiful and a place of recreation, conservation and education!
