Come help out at Osmundson Prairie SNA, a beautiful remnant of southern mesic blacksoil prairie featuring a diversity of native forbs and grasses. Join SNA staff in searching for and removing Queen Anne's lace (Daucus carota). Advanced registration is required, and the event will be capped at 25 attendees. To register, please email sna.dnr@state.mn.us. We want all visitors to feel safe and welcome. Please consider wearing a face covering when unable to maintain 6-feet of social distance. Instructions, equipment, and good camaraderie will be provided. Bring water, lunch, and dress for working in the weather. If you have your own gloves you'd like to use, please bring those as well. Footwear appropriate for outdoor work/hiking is recommended. There are no maintained trails or recreational facilities on this site. Directions: From Kiester 3.5 miles E on Co Rd 2, then 1.25 miles S on 610th Ave. Park on W road shoulder.
