Pollinators are important players in our everyday lives whether we know it or not. Without them, we wouldn't have half the food resources we do. As more land is developed, they lose their habitat, but you can help! Create a sanctuary of native plants that will provide them food, water, and shelter and bring you everlasting beauty, enjoyment, and satisfaction of knowing you are doing your part in keeping these pollinators around. Join Naturalist Katy to learn how simple it can be. The program will include a presentation, a tour of River Bend's prairie, a take-home guidebook, and a perennial plant. Pre-registration is required. Masks are required inside the interpretive center. $40/ RBNC members, $65/nonmembers
This course is taught by River Bend Nature Center Naturalist Katy Anderegg.
The course cost is $65 and includes course manuals and supplies.

Instructor Information
I am a naturalist at River Bend Nature Center and enjoy teaching people of all ages about our natural world. My background is in Zoology, but I love learning about all aspects of nature. I took the Prairies and Potholes Master Naturalist course in the summer of 2019, thoroughly enjoyed it and wanted to be an instructor sharing my passion with others.
