Join life-long learners online OR in-person for a monthly lunch and learn series at Cedar Creek. Bring your lunch and hunger for knowledge, we will provide the brain food! Spring is prescribed burn season at Cedar Creek, and an excellent opportunity to learn about this powerful management and research tool. Cedar Creek staff will share about why and how we burn in a livestreamed webinar, and then - conditions permitting - conduct a small-scale demonstration burn for in-person participants to observe.
THIS PROGRAM WILL BE BOTH ONLINE AND IN-PERSON. To sign up for the online webinar go to: http://z.umn.edu/LWASonline. The in-person program will take place at the Lindeman Research and Discovery Center (2660 Fawn Lake Drive NE, East Bethel MN 55005); the livestreamed webinar will be followed - conditions permitting - by a demonstration burn for in-person participants. We will try to also film the burn, but it is unlikely it will be livestreamed.
