Invasive plant removal and treatment using hand tools and herbicide. We will mostly be cutting and treating buckthorn, honeysuckle and Japanese tree lilac. Volunteers should come dressed with sturdy shoes, long sleeves and long plants, and be prepared for physically hard work on a very steep slope. We'll be working on the south slope between the Plummer House and 11th St. SW.
Bring Water bottles, snacks, work gloves, hand tools if you have them preferably including hand pruner, loppers and a small manual hand saw.
