Celebrate National Public Lands Day by collecting native prairie seeds that will be used in the county parks for prairie restoration. This event will be led by Joel Dunnette and Patty Trnka, Master Naturalist Volunteers who will explain and demonstrate the process of seed collection.
Everyone needs to wear a mask when in close proximity to other people regardless of vaccination status.
Please bring gloves, water bottles, snacks, lunch if staying all day. Please wear long pants, close toed shoes/boots, hat and bring sunscreen. All seed collecting equipment will be provided.
This event is for adults (age 18 and older).
