The Project Get Outdoors On-line Leader Training is available to anyone wanting to learn more about developing community-based nature programs for youth. The training addresses the following:
*How to plan and promote your youth program
*Considerations and resources for dealing with difficult behaviors
*Tips and resources for engaging youth with nature.

Instructor Information
Sara has worked as an environmental educator since 1994, leading programs and activities for a variety of natural resource agencies and organizations including the US Forest Service Resort Naturalist Program, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resource - MinnAqua Program, the Bell Museum of Natural History, Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center, and Olmsted County Parks. Since 1999, Sara has worked as an Interpretive Naturalist for Minnesota State Parks at Forestville/Mystery Cave State Park and Whitewater State Park. Sara is the Founder and Board President of Project Get Outdoors, Inc., a non-profit organization that provides training and resources to help communities implement after school programs that connect low-income youth and children of color to nature exploration.
