We will cut and treat invasive buckthorn and honeysuckle in the park.
What to know:
"Volunteers should wear sturdy boots or shoes and long pants to protect legs against brush. Bring gloves and a brush lopper or hand saw if you have one. Coffee and treats provided in the morning. We will break for lunch 11:30 to 12:30. If you can only come in the afternoon, meet in the parking lot at the end of Terracewood Drive around 12:30.
Directions to Indian Heights Park from BROADWAY: head WEST on Elton Hills Drive to turn LEFT Viking Drive (just past Family Video store), then RIGHT on 19th Street NW, then LEFT on Terracewood Drive straight to the parking lot at the end of the street.
