This is a new partner for 2020! We are happy to have UMD join us for National Public Lands Day. There are several options for projects that need to be done. You can choose which one best suits your skills and abilities.
(1) Pulling tansy and other invasive species;
(2) Organic site prep;
(3) Native seed planting;
(4) Building a trail and planting a cover crop in an edible forest garden;
(5) Sanding, staining, and priming tables and decorating with local native plant art

Bring: Water bottles, snacks, gloves, boots if it's rainy and muddy, light colored clothing if hot and sunblock, maybe a camp chair for resting, a wind breaker (it gets very windy), any tools they might have for pulling tansy, If working in the apiary they might want a bee suit if they happen to have one (but we do have some), epinephrine if allergic to bees ( and let the leader know)

Others from your household are welcome to join in the volunteering, but must be listed with your registration. You will be asked to do this. All participants will receive a MNat bandana!
