Join experienced instructors John Geissler & Kyle Rauch in an amazing 2,945 acre classroom located at the unique convergence of prairie, deciduous forest, and coniferous forest to complete a 40-hour hands-on course on the "Prairies & Potholes" biome of Minnesota. This program allows participants to study natural history, environmental interpretation, and conservation stewardship. Early August is an outstanding time of year to see wildflowers and grasses, landscape formations, insects, frogs, birds, and more.
Final certification comes with the completion of a small group capstone service project. Individuals interested may not register for single programs—the training is intended for those committed to attending all meetings listed.
The course cost is $295 and includes course manuals and supplies.
If the course cost is a hardship, please fill out the scholarship application. After the scholarship is fully processed, you will receive a code to be entered in the on-line registration process. Please wait until you receive that code to complete registration.
