A variety of planting and habitat restoration in Coldwater Spring's forest understory. Volunteers should be ready to bend over to plant, use a trowel and other small hand tools, walk through tall grass over uneven terrain, and haul some brush or other plant material.
What to know:
Wear full length pants (not yoga or stretchy pants), closed toed shoes or boots, bring a personal water bottle, sunscreen, a hat, and insect repellent as desired.
