Come out and celebrate Earth Day! The 2018 Citywide Spring Cleanup, hosted by the Department of Parks and Recreation in cooperation with the Department of Public Works will see hundreds of volunteers venture into our parks, streets, and neighborhoods to collect the trash that has accumulated over the winter. We are excited to engage volunteers of all ages with an organized opportunity to maintain the well-being of their community. To increase flexibility for our volunteers this year, there will be seven Cleanup Sites hosted by community groups, businesses and organizations that are open from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Citywide Spring Cleanup Sites • Central Village Park – hosted by Summit University Planning Council • Cherokee Regional Park – hosted by Conservation Corps of Minnesota and Iowa • Como Lakeside -- hosted by Andeavor • Frogtown Park and Farm – hosted by Frogtown Green • Highland Pavilion – hosted by College Nannies and Tutors • Phalen Pavilion – hosted by Saint Paul Jaycees • Swede Hollow Park – hosted by Urban Roots • Trout Brook Nature Sanctuary – hosted by North End Neighborhood Organization RSVP for a site at: https://goo.gl/UT84Xb
